Every Premier League club has been ranked according to how local their fanbase is.

The Premier League is one of the biggest and most followed leagues in world football as it contains some of the best teams in the world.

Big clubs like Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea, Manchester City and Arsenal will have fans from all corners of the globe.

But how local is the fanbase of each Premier League side?

According to Statista, Brighton and Hove Albion have the most local fanbase, with 71% of their fans being based in the same region as the club.

The Seagulls are closely followed by Nottingham Forest with 70%, Newcastle United rounded off the top three with 69%.

According to the list, United are the least local club in the Premier League, with only 23% of their fans based in the same region.

Second-bottom was Liverpool with 27% and then followed by City with 38%.

This season, the Premier League title race is looking likely to go down to the wire.

Currently, Pep Guardiola's men have a slight advantage as they hold a two point lead over Arsenal and Liverpool, who are level on points but the Gunners are second on goal difference.

With all three teams getting knocked out of European competitions this week, all their attention will now be purely focused on the Premier League.
