Jamie Carragher cut off by Kate Abdo in chaotic end to CBS Sports broadcast

Jamie Carragher was at Signal Iduna Park to watch Borussia Dortmund beat PSG 1-0 in the Champions League semi-final.

Jamie Carragher was cut off by Kate Abdo in a chaotic end to CBS Sports' broadcast on Wednesday night.

The Liverpool legend was not part of CBS's famed panel for their Champions League coverage and was instead replaced by Juventus and Italy legend Alessandro Del Piero in the studio.

However, Carragher had a more exciting role as he watched Borussia Dortmund's Champions League semi-final win over Paris Saint-Germain from Signal Iduna Park.

In fact, he was actually in Dortmund's 'Yellow Wall' with the club's most passionate fanbase and claimed to have sunk "about eight pints" watching Niclas Fullkrug bag the winner.

He and Peter Schmeichel conducted a hilariously brilliant interview with Dortmund's on-loan star Jadon Sancho after his sensational showing.

But there was more chaos to follow right at the end of the broadcast. Carragher was told off for being "too loud" while in the mixed zone, causing he and Schmeichel to lower their voices.

Then, not long after, Abdo aimed a cheeky dig when she said, "You can take the man out of Liverpool!".

He responded by telling the presenter not to stereotype, before she pointed out that her mother is from Liverpool.

He then accused Abdo, who is fluent in multiple languages, of changing her accent "every now and then".

And she swiftly wrapped up the segment by saying, "And there we are... we're gone!" before the show went to an ad break.

The pair have clearly moved past the slightly controversial comment about Abdo's other half Malik Scott a few weeks back and CBS continue to provide entertainment with their unprecedented Champions League coverage.

On Tuesday panelist Thierry Henry sent Carragher "back to his lane" after a Micah Richards joke, while they staged a superb interview with Bayern Munich legend Thomas Muller following the 2-2 draw with Real Madrid.
