Harry Kane reveals what Jude Bellingham really said to him during penalty incident as new details emerge

Jude Bellingham spoke to Harry Kane moments before he converted his penalty.

Harry Kane has revealed what Jude Bellingham really said to him before he stepped up to take a penalty against Real Madrid.

Kane scored from the spot in Bayern Munich's 2-2 draw with Real in their Champions League semi-final first leg tie on Tuesday.

He coolly slotted past Andriy Lunin to make it 2-1 and set a new Champions League record in the process.

But before the star forward placed the ball on the spot, his international colleague Bellingham tried to put him off.

After the match, he told TNT Sports that he was in the zone and saw him 'mumbling something'.

"I don't know what he was saying. I saw him mumbling something," he said.

"Once I'm in that moment, I'm in my zone, trying to block everyone out. I'm sure he was saying something to try to put me off."

However, before Kane left the Allianz Arena, he revealed what Bellingham really said to him.

In the mixed zone, the 30-year-old added: "In the moment, I didn't know what he said but I spoke to him after and he said: 'I know you're going to go left of the keeper'.

"But it was nice for me because I saw the keeper go a little bit early and I put it away. Actually, on the pitch, I didn't know what he said. I knew he was there, but I didn't know what he said. But I went left anyway."

Kane's penalty put his side ahead but Vinicius Junior, who opened the scoring, made it 2-2 seven minutes from time.

The England captain improved his goal tally to 43 goals for the season as he enjoys an ultra-prolific debut campaign in Germany.

He will look to guide Bayern to the Champions League final when they meet Real in the second leg next Wednesday.

It's Kane's only chance at a major trophy this season, having surrendered the Bundesliga crown to Bayer Leverkusen.
