Fans stunned after seeing former England and Liverpool player's face in Euro 2000 PS2 game

Fans stunned after seeing former England and Liverpool player's face in Euro 2000 PS2 game

Fans can't believe who this is.

Fans have been completely taken back after seeing Playstation 2 graphic of a former Liverpool and England star from 2000.

Graphics have improved massively over the last decade or so and it is almost hard to believe we were impressed by the graphics even five or so years ago considering the technological advancements in gaming.

If we go even further back throughout the years, the graphics get even harder to believe and fans have been gobsmacked by the player face of one England star from the Euro 2000 game.

The game was EA Sports' first game based on the European Championships after the company obtained the official licence from UEFA, which had previously been held by Gremlin Interactive.

The game features all 49 teams from the qualifying round of the Euro 2000 championships, as well as Belgium and the Netherlands who qualified for the finals automatically as the host nations.

Despite EA releasing multiple games based on international tournaments since, the game wasn't received particularly well by critics who said the game was significantly worse than FIFA 2000.

The gameplay was described as 'much slower' than the previous EA game, but as previously mentioned, it's the graphics which have got people talking as Jamie Redknapp's player face has gone viral.

Redknapp didn't even feature in the tournament after missing out through injury, but at least the former Liverpool star can still live his dream of Euro glory on the Playstation...

Fans have been quick to react to Redknapp's graphics online.

One fan joked: "When did graphics become this good?"

Another believed it looked more like Harry Redknapp as opposed to Jamie.

"They have fully based that off his Dad, not a chance that's Jamie Redknapp," They added.

A third commented: "We need more of these."

A fourth joked: "That's not him that guys not injured."
